‘world’

where do I find tours to world adventures, GAP Adventures ?

Where in the WORLD should I go to?

So for this summer, I have been considering traveling by myself to a foreign country and experience a different culture for a week or two. I’m an 18 year old male and I just want to go on adventures and feel free from any obligations. I also want a place I can learn from others and grow ( examples a Buddhist temple, Egyptian pyramids, holy sites, pilgrimages, etc…) However I can’t decide which place to go.

Have you been to any interesting places you would recommend? I there a place you have heard of?

Keep in mind I really mean just being on my own, no tour guides, no fancy living accommodations, no protection. So crime rates and ability to find a place to sleep are important.

I’m an 18 year old male living in Florida, U.S, and I just want to go on adventures and feel free from any obligations. I also want a place I can learn from others and grow ( eg: a Buddhist temple, Egyptian pyramids, holy sites, pilgrimages, etc…) However I can’t decide which place to go. I’m pretty open minded to anything from busy cities to sandy deserts.

* I am not interested in beaches and resorts. I’m looking for adventure, not vacation.

I was promised a trip to anywhere in the world for High School Graduation, where should I go? Eur, Aus, Jap?

I live in New Jersey and my parents promised me a trip anywhere I wanted to go when I graduate High School. I cannot decide between driving across Europe, touring Australia, seeing Japan, or exploring South America. Let me explain why I like each one and then you tell me which sounds best, and then I will choose the best answer. OK?

Europe- I am a car freak! The real reason I want to go here is because I heard that their roads are so much different than ours. That they are more challenging, and more fun. I really want to drive the Nurburgring and the Autobahn along with San Bernardino Pass in Italy. I looked it up and I can get a great rental of an Audi A4 for the time, a great driving car. But, I of course want to see all of the sights as well. I was sort of imagining it as driving from Italy to England, and seeing everything in between.

Australia- Come on, how could it get more cool than Australia? They have the Barrier Reef, the Outback, Ayers Rock, and since I am a car freak, some serious off roading lol. This appeals to me because they speak English, and the country seems really beautiful. It seems like a great place to travel.

Japan/China- They seem like great places. Especially Japan. I have always wanted to see the technologically advanced city of Tokyo. This country has great history, and would be fascinating. The same could be said for Hong Kong and Shanghai. They both entice me also for their food (yummy!)

South America- Either the Brazillian Amazon, Buenos Aires, or Peru. Amazon would be a wonderful adventure. Buenos Aires seems like a great place to visit, the people seem so nice. Also has a rich history. Peru has great rainforrests and ruins. Also deep rich history.

So, which sounds most fun to you? How should I make up my mind? Thanks for your input.
